We represent a high-quality method of charcoal production. Harvested from
acacias (bush), our charcoal is not a product of deforestation. The bush is a real enemy for Namibian vegetation, spreading at high speed and lowering the water table, which affects local sources of water and the ecosystem. Green Charcoal Namibia is FSC®(FSC-C176429) certified, which is an international certification that promotes wood products from sustainably managed forests. This allows them to promote
their products, which come from well-managed forests.
Green Charcoal Namibia was created in Namibia in 2021 with one mission: manufacture first-class charcoal which improves grilling experiences, while still respecting the ecosystem which it comes from and in compliance with environmental standards. Consequently, we play an active role in maintainingNamibian biodiversity in the face of ‘bush’, an invasive plant species.

Located in Arandis in Namibia since the beginning of 2021, Green Charcoal Namibia came to life on a 5 hectare-site dedicated to the sieving and baggingof charcoal from charcoal harvested on site. Today, Green Charcoal Namibia is rapidly growing. Fifty people work on site, and we are anticipating creating 30 additional jobs between now and 2025.
Our solution is to offer high-quality, long lasting charcoal, briquettes and biochar. All our products are regulary tested and verified to provide you à unique barbecue experience.

Green Charcoal Namibia is also supporting the local population. It has a foundation which improves the daily lives of women and children in the region of Arandis through educational support, building infrastructure and delivering meals.

guarantees that products come from forests that are being managed sustainably. The company also holds BSCI certification.
The pledge by Green Charcoal Namibia to support the environment goes far beyond the production of charcoal. It plays a role in limitingthe spread of invasive and harmful species to Namibian biodiversity.
